Belarus, Oman sign memorandum of understanding in culture and heritage protection

Omani Minister of Heritage and Culture, member of the royal family Haitham bin Tariq Al Said showed interest in Belarus’ experience in the protection of historical and cultural heritage as he met with Belarusian Culture Minister Yuri Bondar. The sides also discussed the possibility of organizing a tour of Oman for Belarus’ Bolshoi Theater and took part in the opening of the exhibition “Belarus at the Crossroads of Civilized Communication” at the National Museum of Oman. The exhibition will run in Muscat until 4 July 2018.
The Belarusian Culture Ministry and the Omani Ministry of Heritage and Culture signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of heritage and culture. The national history museums of Belarus and Oman also inked a cooperation agreement during the meeting.
