Day of Belarusian Culture held in Lublin
The Day of Belarusian Culture took place in Poland's Lublin on 23 December, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Poland.
Performing at the event were numerous children's and junior music groups and individual performers from Minsk, Vitebsk, Novopolotsk and Orsha. The Belarusian artists received a warm welcome from the Polish public. Attending the gala concert were representatives of the municipal administrations of Lublin and Vitebsk, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Poland Vladimir Chushev. In addition to that, winners of the children's art contest Land Under White Wings were awarded during the event. The concert drew a lot of spectators and became a true celebration of Belarus-Poland friendship.
The head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission held talks with senior officials of Lublin and Lublin Voivodeship. The parties discussed cooperation of Lublin with Brest and Vitebsk, as well as a possibility to forge partnerships between Lublin Voivodeship and Brest Oblast and Vitebsk Oblast.
