About 600 participation applications have been submitted for the Minsk International Film Festival Listapad. This figure was announced at a meeting of the permanent organizing committee of the Listapad festival chaired by Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Natalia Kochanova, the press service of the Belarusian Government said.

The meeting discussed the budget and logistics of the festival. Other items on the agenda included the concept of the festival, information support, participation of foreign guests, preparation of the facilities and outdoor advertising. Financial issues were also discussed. Natalia Kochanova said that the preparations are on schedule. She also noted that
the festival will be organized at a high level.

As many as 594 applications have been filed for participation in the feature, documentary and children's programs, Culture Minister Boris Svetlov said. The 33rd edition of the Minsk International Film Festival Listapad will be held under the motto Towards Inspiration.
