On May 22-24, the final of the XIX Republican Spartakiad of Cultural Workers was held at the Stayki Republican Olympic Training Center
The sports forum is held with the aim of widespread promotion and further development of physical culture and sports in the work collectives of organizations within the system of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus. The objectives of the Spartakiad include identifying the strongest teams and athletes, promoting an active and healthy lifestyle, and strengthening team spirit and corporate unity.
The official opening of the event took place on May 23, with a welcoming address to participants and spectators delivered by Marat Sergeevich Markov, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus.
Combined teams from all regions, Minsk, and republican cultural organizations competed to determine the strongest in 8 sports disciplines:
Team events: mini-football, volleyball, tug-of-war.
Individual events: kettlebell sport, darts, table tennis, cross-country running. Special events: family relay race "Friendly Family".
Intense competition awaited the participants. Everyone had the opportunity not only to demonstrate their sporting character but also to strengthen professional and friendly ties.
Based on the results of the competition, the places in the team standings were distributed as follows:
The top step of the podium was taken by athletes from the Gomel region.
Second place was claimed by the team from the Minsk region.
Bronze was won by representatives of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.
