The Year of Italian Culture will mark the 25th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Italy and Belarus, said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Belarus Stefano Bianchi.
On 8-12 February Italian writers will take part in the 24th edition of the Minsk International Book Fair. Among them will be crime fiction writer Carlo Lucarelli. Cantiniere by Matteo Spiazzi will premiere at the Gorky National Academic Drama Theater on 18 February. The stage director from Verona is also working on the comedy Pension Belvedere at the Belarusian State Puppet Theater.
